Is it a matter of pride if Hollywood remakes a foreign film after us? It happened recently, with Daddy Cool, a ghastly Hindi remake of Death At a Funeral, coming out before the Hollywood version (starring Chris Rock, and not much better than its Bollywood counterpart).

In similar fashion, we now have Dinner for Schmucks, a remake of the popular French farce The Dinner Game. You may remember our very own version Bheja Fry, which released in 2007 and found moderate box-office success and critical praise, especially for the performances by Vinay Pathak and Rajat Kapoor.
